| Abstract:Paper-based functional materials have received much attention due to the environmentally-friendly, high performance, and low cost. In order to solve the problems of paper-based materials such as hydrophilicity of their own fibers, a lot of projects had been studied for excellent superhydrophobic properties to prepare paper-based superhydrophobic functional materials with high-added value. The latest research progress in the application of superhydrophobic paper-based functional materials were mainly described in this paper, such as oil/water separation, food packaging, intelligent response devices, sensors, and other new devices and equipment, providing an outlook on the future development direction of superhydrophobic paper-based functional materials. |
