Abstract:Lignin is a kind of rich natural aromatic polymer and one of the three components of woody biomass, which is also the residue in the process of pulping, and its resource development potential is huge. Therefore, effective exploitation of lignin can help alleviate the problem of resource scarcity. In this paper, the classification, composition, and structural characteristics of lignin were summarized. Secondly, the adsorption properties, physicochemical properties, and development prospects of lignin were reviewed, and the latest research progress of lignin-based adsorption materials at home and abroad was also summarized. Finally, the current research status in the field of lignin-based adsorption materials was concluded, and the prospect of high-value utilization of lignin-based adsorption materials was prospected.
