| Abstract:In this paper, the chemi-mechanical pulping properties of Neosinocalamus affinis and moso bamboo with different chemical impregnation alkali amounts were discussed. The amount of wastewater and CODCr pollution load were compared and studied. The effects of key parameters such as pH value, CODCr, BOD5, total nitrogen (TN), and total phosphorus (TP) on biochemical treatment were discussed. The ash content of wastewater solids and the contents of main metal ions in ash were measured. The relationship between alkali consumption and pulping yield and wastewater CODCr pollution load was analyzed, and the correlation between wastewater total organic carbon (TOC) and CODCr was studied. The results showed that the strength properties of Neosinocalamus affinis chemi-mechanical pulp were significantly higher than that of moso bamboo chemi-mechanical pulp with the same impregnation alkali amount. The amount of comprehensive wastewater from the two chemi-mechanical pulps was 6.20~7.73 m3/t, the pH values were both above 8.5, and the CODCr pollution load was 178.88~410.44 kg/t. The total alkali consumption amount was related to the pulp yield and wastewater CODCr pollution load, TOC of wastewater was correlated with CODCr. |
