Abstract:Bioethanol prepared by fermentation technology has the properties of high oxygen content， combustion cleaner， and reducing the emission of toxic substances. The advantages of raw materials， advantages and disadvantages of pretreatment and two hydrolysis methods， the kinds of yeasts commonly used in the fermentation process and their scope of action， as well as the process of preparing second-generation bioethanol with different raw materials using different combinations of pretreatment and fermentation were summarized in this paper.
