| Abstract:The fiber morphology and physical strength properties of domestic waste pulp, US 12# waste pulp and high-yield hardwood pulp were investigated in this paper. The results showed that the fiber length distribution of high-yield pulp was similar to that of domestic waste pulp. The fiber length of high-yield pulp was shorter and the content of fine fibers was higher. The dry and wet zero pitch tensile strength were closed. The difference in fiber strength between high yield pulp and domestic waste pulp was not large, but there was a large gap compared to US 12# waste pulp, of which the wet zero pitch tensile index was about 21% lower than that of US 12# waste pulp. The crystallization index of domestic waste pulp, US 12# waste pulp and high-yield pulp were 76%, 72% and 68%, respectively. The ash contents of domestic waste pulp and US 12# waste pulp were high, and the ash content of domestic waste pulp was about 3 times that of US 12# waste pulp. After reused for several times, the strength properties of the paper prepared from domestic waste pulp and US 12# waste pulp had a larger decline trend, and the decline trend of the paper prepared from high-yield pulp was relatively gentle. |
