| Abstract:In this study, the relationship of absorbance and diameter of cellulose nanocrystal (CNC) was investigated by the suspension absorbance method. The results showed that when the CNC was 0.06 wt% with the test wavelength of 220 nm for 0 h, the absorbance value of CNC dispersion gradually decreased with the increase of CNC particle size. There was a good linear relationship between CNC diameter and absorbance, of which the linear equation was that Y(absorbance)=-0.0054X(CNC diameter)+0.4438, with a linear correlation R2 of 0.9931. |
