Abstract:In this study, fly ash inorganic material (FAH) was prepared by heat treatment. The effects of different particle sizes, adsorption time and pH value on oxygen demand (COD) removal and competition adsorption with heavy metal ions were studied. The results showed when the particle size was less than 0.212 mm, the CODCr maximum removal rate was 92.6% at pH value=8 for 240 min. It also had good removal effect on BOD, SS and chroma. When pH value=6, FAH with particle size less than 0.212 mm had the highest removal rates of Cu2+, Zn2+, Pb2+, Cd2+ of 95.9%, 85.3%, 79.3 and 82.2%, respectively. When the particle size was less than 0.212 mm, FAH had a good removal effect on COD, Cd2+, Zn2+, Pb2+ and Cu2+. |
