Abstract:Simulated dry heat aging and wet heat aging tests were conducted on cultural paper in this study. The influence of different aging methods on the durability of cultural paper was explored by analyzing the changes of color difference, pH value, mechanical properties, the degree of polymerization and crystallization index. The results showed that the dry heat aging process had a significant impact on the change of properties and degradation process of cultural paper. Furthermore, oxidative degradation was dominant in the aging process and temperature was the main factor affecting the aging of cultural paper. |
