Study on Preparation of the Ionogel and Its Application in Flexible Strain Sensor

Abstract:A highly adhesive ionogel was prepared by choline chloride-acrylamide deep eutectic solvents (DES), α-lipoic acid and microcrystalline cellulose. The prepared ionogel exhibited good stability and mechanical properies through the formation of network structure including covalent bonds, ionic bonds and hydrogen bonds. It was found that the prepared ionogel had ideal adhesiveness (the adhesive force to glass reached 69.3 kPa), good self-healing property (41% of the maximum stress could be recovered at 10 s),excelent conductivity (8.1×10-4 S/cm) and ultraviolet resistance (100% UV blocking ability). At the same time, the ionogel had good adhesion on substrates of different materials and shapes, and has high adhesion on human skin. The flexible strain sensor assembled based on this ionogel could be used to monitor the change of relative resistance signals in different actions, and it showed repeatable and stable signals.
