Abstract:The physical properties, dimensional stability at high temperature, flame retardant properties and resin bonding properties of domestic meta-aramid honeycomb paper were studied and the mechanical properties and flame retardant properties of the honeycomb core prepared by the meta-aramid honeycomb paper were characterized. The results showed that the longitudinal tensile strength and longitudinal modulus of the homemade honeycomb paper were 7.7% and 7.1% higher than those of the imported honeycomb paper, respectively. The main physical properties were basically the same as those of imported paper, and the air permeability was 0.004 μm/(Pa·s). In addition, the product also had good high temperature dimensional stability, flame retardant characteristics and resin bonding characteristics, and the glue could be hung in the paper Z direction without glue penetration. The mechanical properties and flame retardant properties of the prepared meta-aramid honeycomb core reached the BMS8-124 index, which could meet the requirements of materials in aerospace and other high-end equipment fields.
