Abstract:The properties of waste liquor from each stage of wheat straw bio-chemimechanical pulping (Bio-CMP) process were quantitatively studied. The results showed that the wheat straw Bio-CMP waste liquor belonged to low concentration waste liquor with a low solid content of each stage. Baume degree and the color values of the waste liquor were lower than 4.05 (°Be, 20 ℃) and 1064.39 C.U., respectively. Compared with traditional pulping method, the COD of Bio-CMP waste liquor was relatively higher, but with a lower total phosphorus and total nitrogen amount. The total suspended solids and dissolved solids of the Bio-CMP waste liquor were distributed in the range of 151~20730 mg/L and 406~19080 mg/L, respectively. Compared with those from other stages, the electrical conductivity and content of glucose, xylose and arabinose of the waste liquor obtained after caustic pretreatment possessed the highest value, While the soluble lignin content after alkali-enzyme synergistic pretreatment was the highest. |
