Abstract:The evaluation system was established to compare and analyze the painting performance of six kinds of watercolor paper samples， and the influencing factors on watercolor paper painting performance were further studied. The results show that the evaluation system of watercolor paper established in this study is effective and feasible. The color reduction， absorption， friction resistance， and durability show great differences among different watercolor papers. The key factors that affect the painting performance of watercolor paper may be raw materials， fillers， tightness， and pH value of paper.
