Abstract:Bamboo residue was used as raw material to prepare biomass papermaking fillers by biological enzymatic method. The process parameters of bamboo residue fillers prepared by biological enzymatic method and the physicochemical properties of bamboo residue fillers after pretreatment were studied, and the effects of the addition of bamboo residue fillers on the physical strength and wet-end properties of papermaking were investigated. The results showed that the optimum conditions for the preparation of bamboo residue fillers by biological enzyme method were as follows: the amount of biological enzyme was 0.02% (relative to oven-dry bamboo residue), the pH value was 6.5, the temperature was 65℃, the treatment time was 1 h, and the dissolution of bamboo residue was 6.8% under these conditions. When the content of bamboo residue fillers prepared by biological enzymatic method was 20%, the tensile index and ring compression index of paper were 14.0 N·m/g and 5.79 N·m/g, which were 14.6% and 37.2% higher than that of unfilled paper, respectively. Compared with bamboo residue, the phase structure and thermal stability of bamboo residue fillers prepared by biological enzymatic method did not change significantly, however, the hydrogen bond groups in the macromolecular structure increased and the surface of bamboo residue changed into flakes. The bamboo residue prepared by adding biological enzyme method had no significant effects on the water quality index of papermaking white water.
