Abstract:At present, the development trend of alkali recovery system is to increase the solid content of black liquor before combustion, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technology can be used to predict the flow characteristics and atomization combustion performance of black liquor in alkali recovery furnace. The numerical models of black liquor atomization and combustion in alkali recovery system were summaried, research progress of which was emphasized, and the application of isothermal and non-isothermal models in the combustion of black liquor in alkali recovery system was illustrated as well. It is proposed to further improve the model for black liquor combustion and develop a simplified sub-model to realize the accurate numerical simulation for the atomization and combustion of black liquor. It is expected to put forward a new research direction for the black liquor with high solid content in alkali recovery system, and bring up the prospect for the progress and future development of alkali recovery technique. |
