Abstract:A teaching model of pulp and papermaking professional English which integrated production-teaching-research was proposed in this paper. Based on the analysis towards problems of the pulp and papermaking professional English teaching, CBI concept and task-based teaching method were used to combine research, production and teaching effectively. From the perspective of the integration of production-teaching-research, the teaching content, teaching model, and teachers were put forward and practiced. In addition, the section of “Professional basic English and Comprehensive practice” was set up to enrich the teaching content, improving the professional English language skill and creativity of students, achieving the teaching effect that teaching benefited teachers as well as students in the process, offering the new basis and reference for the educational reform of pulp and papermaking professional English.
