| Abstract:The oxidized bacterial cellulose@cadmium sulfide (TOBC@CdS) nanocomposite gel with high CdS loading percentage and better photocatalytic degradation performance were obtained through the microwave assisted solvo-thermal in-situ synthesis reaction. The results showed that cell receptor-like cubic CdS nanoclusters were mainly attached to amorphous region of TOBC fiber via complexation of carboxyl group, forming stable organic-inorganic hybrid structure. TOBC@CdS nanocomposite gel possessed efficient photocatalytic degradation activity with 87.27% removal of MB under 180 min visible light irradiation, and exhibited satisfactory cyclic utilization with slight attenuation after 5 cycles. |
