Abstract:In this study, the self-made polyethylene terephthalate (PET) precipitated fiber was screened and mixed with PET chopped fiber to form paper. The effects of the precipitation fiber size on structure, mechanical and electrical properties of PET paper were discussed. The results showed that the PET precipitation fiber with 100 mesh and 50% content had the best performance, with a uniformity index of 94, a tensile index of 56.2 N∙m/g, a tear index of 42.9 mN∙m2/g, an interlayer bonding strength of 79.4 N∙m/g and a compressive strength of 9.51 kV/mm.
