Abstract:In this study, the removal degree of heavy metals in "pulping-deinking-bleaching" of three typical imported wastepaper was simulated. The results showed that the removal characteristics of 3 kinds of waste paper(1#, 2# and 3#)in pulping process were 17.34%, 13.70% and 17.77%, respectively. 1# waste paper material was relatively clean, so that it did not need to be deinked and bleached. The removal characteristics of heavy metals in 2# and 3# in deinking processes were 31.14% and 20.54%, respectively, and which in bleaching process were 13.73% and 23.49%, respectively. Overall recycling link heavy metal removal characteristics was 60%~70%.The pulping process had a general effect on the removal of heavy metals from waste paper, and deinking and bleaching were the main steps to remove heavy metals from waste paper. That is the printing ink, pigment and other substances in the waste paper could be removed, and the the heavy metal content in pulp could be reduced in deinking and bleaching.
