Abstract:Using wheat straw waste residue and pulp waste liquid from the material preparation section of pulp and papermaking mill as raw materials, wheat residue based biomass pellet fuel was prepared by hydraulic molding machine, and its forming characteristics and combustion characteristics were investigated. The influence of grain size of wheat residue and the amount of waste liquid on the forming effect of fuel particles was studied, and the change rules of ash, volatilization, fixed carbon and caloric value of fuel particles were analyzed. The optimal preparation conditions of wheat straw waste residue pellet fuel were obtained. The results showed that the molding density gradually increased with the decrease of grain size. The optimal preparation conditions were that the grain size of wheat residue was in the range of 0.45~0.90 mm and the amount of waste liquid was 10%. Under these conditions, the surface of pellet fuel was smooth, the density was 1.26 g/cm3, and the compressive strength was 58.1 MPa. When the calorific value of combustion was up to 14807 J/g and the amount of waste liquid was higher than 10%, the forming structure was unstable. |
