| Abstract:The separator is located between the positive and negative electrode of a lithium-ion battery, which is one of the important components of the battery and plays a vital role in the safety of the battery. This paper reviews the research progress of polyolefin-based, non-woven fabric, and cellulose paper-based/composite lithium-ion battery separators. The advantages and disadvantages of various separator materials and their impact on battery performance are analyzed, and the development trend of lithium-ion battery separators is prospected as well. |
