Abstract:3D printing is a new manufacturing method with unique advantages of rapid prototyping and customization. Cellulose is the most abundant natural polymer in the world, and the combination of 3D printing technology has become a hot topic of international research. This paper introduces the characteristics and application fields of cellulose and common cellulose derivatives, and reviews the research progress of both in fused deposition molding (FDM) and direct ink writing (DIW) in 3D printing methods in recent years, respectively.
