Abstract:In this paper, taking the pulp effluent of a paper mill in Guangxi as the research object, the Fenton oxidation method and ozone oxidation method were used for treatment, and the process parameters were optimized with the removal rate of chromaticity and CODCr as indicators, and the removal efficiency of the two methods were compared and analyzed. The results showed that the best process conditions for the Fenton reaction were: the initial pH value was 3, the reaction time was 1.5 h, and the H2O2/Fe2+ molar ratio was 3∶1. The removal rate of chromaticity reached 97.43% and the removal rate of CODCr reached 92.71%. The optimum reaction conditions for the ozone oxidation reaction were as follows: the initial pH value was 8, the reaction time was 20 min, the ozone dosage was 6%, and the stirring speed was 700 r/min. The chromaticity removal rate reached 98.35% and the CODCr removal rate reached 63.78%. The ozone reaction had better chromaticity removal effect than Fenton reaction, and had the advantages of no pH adjustment and no secondary pollution. The treated wastewater could be considered for the water recycling system of paper mill. |
