Abstract:In this paper, the preparation and pore structure modification methods of wood-based self-supporting carbon materials were sorted out. The applications of wood-based self-supporting carbon materials in various different electrochemical energy storage devices such as supercapacitors, lithium-oxygen batteries, lithium-sulfur batteries were introduced, respectively. The requirements of different electrochemical energy storage devices for the structure and performance of wood-based self-supporting carbon electrode were also introduced. And the research direction of its modification in different energy storage materials was prospected.
