Abstract:Through the investigation of the production process and related conditions of Jindong Tibetan paper， it was found that Jindong Tibetan Paper mainly used Thymelaeaceae bark as raw material via traditional manual method and pouring method technology to make paper. Compared with the historical Jindong Tibetan Paper， the production process was slightly simplified and changed， but the traditional hand-made papermaking process was basically retained. Compared with the production process of Nimu Tibetan Paper， the quality of Jindong Tibetan Paper represented the highest level of Tibetan paper due to the characteristics of raw materials and the improvement of production technology. Through technical analysis and process comparison， it was found that production process of Jindong Tibetan Paper in terms of raw materials （bast fiber of Daphne holosericea （Diels） Hamaya） and technology （beating in ghee barrel and stirring after pouring） both represented the progress and development of papermaking technology in Tibetan areas.
