Abstract:The current situation of problem with silicon disturbance in alkali recovery, the effects caused by silicon disturbance, basically solved problems and solutions were briefly described in the paper. The unresolved silicon disturbance problems in green liquor causticization and white mud calcination were summarized. A new green liquor desilication technology that desilication from green liquor through black liquor combustion was proposed, of which the research progress and mechanism were discussed.
