Abstract:The latest research advances on catalytic hydrolysis of cellulose using solid acid were reviewed in this paper. Based on the acidic site and pore structure of solid acids, the cellulose hydrolysis effiency could be improved by the abrasive pre-treatment and uniform hydrolysis. The interactions between cellulose and solid acids were analyzed, and the prospects of cellulose hydrolysis using solid acids were discussed.
