Abstract:The MoS2/g-C3N4 nano-composite catalyst was prepared via combining MoS2 and g-C3N4 by N-methy1-2-pyrrolidone. The prepared nano-composite catalyst was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The nano-composite catalyst were used to advanced treatment by photocatalysis of papermaking wastewater. The results showed that a few MoS2 combined with g-C3N4 could improve the photocatalytic activity of nano-composite catalyst remarkably. The removal efficiency of CODCr and chroma in papermaking wastewater could reach 63.4% and 83.2%,respectively, when react time was 180 min, pH value was 5, dosage of 1.5% MoS2/g-C3N4 was 2 g/L. The enhanced photocatalytic activity of MoS2/g-C3N4 was probably due to the matched band structure between MoS2 and g-C3N4, which could decrease the recombination rate of photo-generated electron and hole to improve the photocatalytic activity of MoS2/g-C3N4 catalyst.
