Abstract:In this study, the electrospun beaded fiber composite filter media and the electrospun nanofiber composite filter media were prepared, and the structure characteristics such as microscopic morphology and pore size, as well as filtration performance such as filtration resistance, filtration efficiency and dust holding capacity were analyzed. The results showed that the average fiber diameters of them was close, which was 225 nm and 250 nm, respectively. When the initial pressure drop of them was similar by controlling the spinning time, the filtration efficiency of the electrospun beaded fiber composite filter media was 73.1% and that of the electrospun nanofiber composite filter media was 38.2%. The resistance of the electrospun beaded fiber composite filter media rose slower than that of the electrospun nanofiber composite filter media. When reaching same terminal pressure drop, the electrospun beaded fiber composite filter media gained a longer lifetime as well as a greater dust holding capacity. The dust holding capacity of the electrospun beaded fiber composite filter media and electrospun nanofiber composite filter media was 119.29 g/m2 and 96.23 g/m2, respectively. The difference of resistance and dust loading capacity between the electrospun beaded fiber composite filter media and electrospun nanofiber composite filter media was analyzed by using simulation software GeoDict to build a model. |
