Abstract:Biomass refining is one of the ways to effectively utilize the most abundant and renewable lignocellulose resources in nature. It is of great significance for alleviating the increasing tension of oil and gas resources and promote green, coordinated and sustainable development. The methods of biomass refining include biological method, physical method and chemical method. Chemical method has been widely studied due to its fast treatment rate and wide application. Acid catalysis method as a chemical method plays an important role in biomass refining. In this paper, the research progress in the preparation of platform compounds, lignin and nanocellulose containing lignin through acid catalyzed refining of lignocellulose was summarized, specifically focusing on the advances on the acid catalyzed refining of lignocellulose with solid acid, acidic deep eutectic solvent and p-toluenesulfonic acid, and the future development direction is also discussed.
