Abstract:The electronic nose was used to analyze the difference in the volatile components of vacuum aluminized transfer inner liner and calendered aluminum foil composite inner liner produced by different manufacturers. Furthermore, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry/olfactometry (GC-MS/O) technology was applied to further analyze the reasons for the difference in the odor of inner liner. The results showed that the odor intensity of vacuum aluminized transfer inner liner was higher than that of calendered aluminum foil composite inner liner. Key volatile with ink smell or bitterness of grapefruit peel and compounds with soap smell had higher contribution to the overall odor. The odor intensity of calendered aluminum foil composite inner liner produced by different manufacturers was similar, while the odor components were significantly different. |
