Abstract:Nanocellulose was a sustainable green nanomaterial. Due to the unique structure, it could be a new choice for the development of next-generation energy storage devices with higher efficiency and environmental protection. Using in-situ polymerization, blending, layer-by-layer self-assembly and other methods, nano-cellulose could be composited with carbon materials, conductive polymers, inorganic nanoparticles, transition metal oxides and other optoelectronic materials to form the multifunctional nanocomposite materials with conductive and energy storage effects. In this paper, it was mainly reviewed the latest research progress on the preparation methods of nanocellulose-based composite materials with different dimensions and their applications in energy storage devices, introduced the urgent problems to be solved, the development direction and focal point in the future development of nanocellulose-based composite materials in the field of energy storage. |
