| Abstract:The high content of silicon oxide in alkali recovery white mud made it difficult to recycle. After research and exploration， a paper company in conjunction with the U.S. Special Mining Co.， Ltd.， optimized and controlled the process of intensified washing， carbonization and grinding to produce the calcium carbonate with the particle size， residual alkali and silicon content which met the requirements of paper filler. The produced filler calcium carbonate had been successfully applied to various kinds of paper produced in the paper company， which developed a feasible method for the comprehensive utilization of alkali recovery white mud. |
