| Abstract:Papers made of cellulose fibers have attracted more and more attentions as a green and cost-effective material in fabrication of triboelectric nanogenerators (TENG). Herein, the fabrication and application of newly developed paper-based TENG were reviewed and analyzed after conventional TENGs were simply introduced. The paper-based TENG were divided into three categories according to the role of paper in construction of TENG, i.e., paper acted as a substrate, a triboelectric material or both as substrate and triboelectric material. |
