Abstract:The separator is an important part of the battery and also plays a key role.Traditional commercial polyolefin separators not only have poor wettability and thermal stability, but the raw materials are not renewable.In order to meet the needs of sustainable development, biomass fiber-based lithium battery separators with good thermal stability, degradability and regeneration have attracted extensive attention.The research progress of cellulose microfiber-based separator, cellulose nanofiber-based separator and other kinds of biomass fiber-based lithium battery separators are summarized, and the future research methods and development direction in this field are discussed.
