Abstract:The end cover of dryer without thermal insulation in a papermaking workshop resulted in the rise of workshop temperature in summer and the waste of steam heat energy. The traditional thermal insulation method is not suitable for special-shaped equipment. The effect was obvious after the new polymer thermal insulation coatings was used， and it avoided the problems of traditional thermal insulation coatings， such as offensive odor， large floor area， unsightly， and difficult operation at bend. Compared with traditional materials， the new polymer coatings had the advantages of better thermal insulation effect， convenient spray coating， clean and beautiful appearance， waterproof and anticorrosion， no peculiar smell， safety and environment friendly.
