Abstract:In this study, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber was added into the hemp pulp to explore the influence of the processing conditions on the performance of the paper yarn. The results showed that the better processing conditions were as follows: PVA fiber addition amount 2.0%,beating degree hemp pulp of 75°SR, dosage of PAE, AmPAM, and AKD were 2.4%, 0.05% and 0.18%, respectively, pressure of calendering 15 N/mm, and drying temperature of 80℃ after wet pressing. Under these conditions, the dry tensile index, wet tensile index and tear index of the paper were 80.0 N·m/g, 32.8 N·m/g, 14.7 mN·m2/g, folding endurance 1498 times, smoothness 41 s, softness TS7 value 53.8, elongation rate 3.37%. |
