Abstract:Lignin-based composites materials have become a focus in the research field of high value utilization of biomass in recent years. However, the structure and functional groups of lignin separated in the industrial process are greatly changed, leading to the industrial lignin has a lower reactivity and difficult to be used efficiently.Therefore, it is of great significance to improve the physical and chemical properties of industrial lignin and improve its compatibility with other polymers through activation modification methods, and only by which the lignin-based composite materials with excellent chemical properties could be prepared. In this paper, the main activation modification methods of industrial lignin were firstly reviewed, and then the research progress of the application of modified lignin in lignin-based functional materials such as ultraviolet protection materials, antibacterial and antioxidant materials, adsorption materials, biomedical materials and pesticide sustained release materials were introduced in detail. |
