Abstract:As novel advanced nanomaterials developed in recent years, the application of aramid nanofiber (ANF) and ANF nanopaper has become one of the research hotspots and development trends in the field of polymer nanofibers. In this paper, the preparation methods, the paper structure, optical properties, mechanical properties, heat resistance and insulation performance of ANF nanopaper and the traditional aramid paper were compared. Furthermore, the possible challenges in low-cost and large-scale preparation, and outlooks toward the future development of ANF nanopaper were highlighted.
