Abstract:By using biological enzymes to pretreat tobacco stem materials, the effects of compound enzyme treatment on tobacco stem materials and fiber properties of tobacco stem pulp were compared and analyzed. The results showed that the average fiber length, coarseness, content of fine fibers and kink index of the enzyme-pretreated group were higher than those of the control group at the same beating degree. Local analysis of the tobacco stem raw material showed that the enzyme pretreatment might promote the opening of the fiber pits and damage the cell structure. The results of infrared analysis confirmed that after enzymatic pretreatment, the relative content of cellulose in the stem material increased, while the relative content of nicotine decreased and the dissolved matterin the pretreatment solution. The enzyme pretreatment increased the relative crystallinity of the cellulose, compared to 26.19% of the control sample, the crystallinity of the enzyme pretreated sample was 28.15%, a increase of 7.51%. Thermogravimetric analysis showed that the biological enzyme pretreatment increased the thermal stability of tobacco stalk material.
