Abstract:In order to further improve the wettability and dispersibility of PI fiber in water, this research explored the growth of PMOEs on the surface of PI fiber under the catalysis of horseradish peroxidase (HRP). In addition, SEM, AFM and XPS were used to analyze the changes of physical and chemical structures of the fiber surface. The thermal and crystalline properties of the fiber were characterized by TG and XRD, and the pore size distribution of the paper made of the fibers was analyzed. The results showed that the PMOEs network was successfully grown on the surface of PI fiber by free radical reaction under the catalysis of HRP, and PI-PMOEs fiber was prepared. Compared with PI fiber, when PMOEs was added 25.6 g, the contact angles of PI-PMOEs-3 fiber with deionized water and ethanol decreased by 13.6°and 9.9°, respectively.Additionally, the fiber dispersity increased by 40 percentage point and the hydrophilic property of the fiber improved significantly. |
