Abstract:Wood chip raw material is important for pulp and paper mill to maintain normal continuous production. In order to conduct dynamic and effective audit and management of wood chip raw material assets, a large pulp and paper mill needs to make statistics on the volume of wood chip regularly. This paper studied the application of tilt photogrammetry technique in wood chip asset management from the methods and procedures of obtaining aerial image data, image control point measurement, aerial triangulation, three-dimensional modeling, and measurement and statistics of wood chip pile volume. The practical research showed that the tilt photogrammetry technique was more efficient and accurate than the traditional surveying and mapping technique.The audit and management of wood chip raw material assets was effective and feasible, which could replace the traditional surveying and mapping technology. |
