| Abstract:As one of main industries in water pollution prevention and control in China, reducing pollutant emissions in pulp and paper industry is arduous. Under the pressure of the environment protection, the pollution situation in pulp and paper industry has changed obviously with the help of the elimination of backward production facilities and improvement of end treatment technologies. However, under the background of the environment management moved from concentration control to total control and quality control, the previous technologies are difficult to meet the higher requirements for water pollution management due to their limitations. So, the pollution prevention methods must be innovated. This paper introduced the basic theory and connotation of the whole-process control of water pollution in pulp and paper industries. Then, the practices in chemical pulping, chemical mechanical pulping, recycled-paper pulping and papermaking process were introduced based on these theories. Finally, the countermeasures for water pollution prevention and treatment provided support for promoting pulp and paper industry's upgrading for green grown and high-quality development. |
