| Abstract:In order to develop the value-added utilization of plant waste materials，the morphological structure，crystallinity and thermal stability of ginseng extract residues were investigated and the preparation of business card base paper using ginseng extract residues and wood pulp was studied. The results showed that the average length and width of ginseng extract residue fiber were 0.580 mm and 41.4 μm respectively， with similar fiber morphology to that of hardwood pulp. When mixing bleached eucalyptus pulp with less than 5% ginseng extract residues，the strength indexes of business card base paper，such as tensile index, ring pressure index, burst index and tear index of the hand-made tablets all meet the requirements of the qualified products in the industry standard of bleached kraft pulp (QB/T 1678—2017). It can be used for synergistic preparation characteristic business card base paper. |
