Abstract:Cellulose is a kind of renewable green material in great abundance in nature. Cellulosic materials are characterized by good compatibility, permeability and biodegradability, the super-hydrophobic modification of cellulose widens their application. In this article, the preparation processes of cellulose super-hydrophobic material were summarized, including spraying method, impregnation method, phase separation method, chemical deposition method and so on. Modification through atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) method was particularly discussed in detail.
