Abstract:Aiming at the particularity of reconstituted tobacco leaf slurry, the beating performance of reconstituted tobacco leaf slurry defibrated by the refiner with a new type of plate was studied. Studies showed that the tobacco leaf slurry was easy to be beaten after defibrating. When beating with a PFI mill and beating concentration was 8.0%, beating time was 1200 r, the beating degree could reach 70°SR and the wet weight was 1.3 g. The proportion distribution of the mass fraction of the fiber was approximately normal distribution, it greatly improved the formation of the tobacco sheets. The increase of beating time had a low effect on the length and width of the fibers, and the fiber coarseness of the slurry decreased significantly. As the beating degree increasing, the breaking length of the tobacco sheet rapidly increased to a certain value then declined, the bulk and the air permeability continuously decreased. |
