Abstract:Nanomaterials are mainly derived from inorganic or fossil materials. However, the non-renewability of inorganic or fossil materials seriously restrict the further development of nanomaterials. Biomass can be used as a source of nanomaterials. They are rich in content and green and renewable. Among them, lignin is the second largest renewable macromolecular material in nature, second only to cellulose, which has good biological compatibility. Therefore, nanoparticles prepared by lignin can be widely used in place of toxic nanomaterialsin the fields of human health, bio-medicine, and environmental remediation, and lignin nanoparticles have attracted more and more attention. This article reviews the methods used to prepare lignin nanoparticle and its application in UV protection, antibacterial, and drug transport, and aims to provide reference for people to study the high value applicationof lignin. |
