Abstract:In this article, Magnetic CuFe2O4-CNC compositewasprepared via aone-step solvothermal method, using FeCl3, CuCl2, NaAc and CNC as the sources of Fe, Cu, N and carrier, respectively. The magnetic CuFe2O4-cellulose nanocrystals(CuFe2O4-CNC) composites were characterized by inductive coupled plasma emission spectrometer atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), Fouriertransform infrared spectrometer (FT-IR),X-ray diffraction (XRD), specific surface areas analyzer (BET), vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM) and thermogravimetric (TG-DSC). The results showed that the CuFe2O4-CNC was cubic spinel crystal structure and the composites exhibited a nanosphere structure with about 10 nm. It could be found that the CuFe2O4-CNC composite presented the maximum saturationmagnetization of 171.56 kA/m, respectively. Both of them weresuperparamagnetic materials. The CuFe2O4-CNC composite at 200℃ for 8h had larger specific surface areas and catalytic activity to degrade4-nitrophenol. |
