| Abstract:Sliver-based metal-organic frameworks@cellulose fibers (Ag-MOFs@CFs) composites were prepared by in-situ synthesis method. The composites were characterized and analyzed by scanning electron microscopy with Scanning electron microscope-energydispersive Spectroscopy(SEM-EDX), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and X-ray diffractometer (XRD). The results showed that Ag-MOFs were successfully immobilized on the fibers surfaces thanks to the electrostatic adsorption between Ag ions in MOFs and cellulose. The test results of inductively coupled plasma (ICP)indicated that Ag-MOFs could release Ag ions lonely in the atomic emission spectrometer. The new synthetized Ag-MOFs /fibers composite showed desirable and sustainable antibacterial activity against escherichia coli and staphylococcus aureus. |
