| Abstract:A kind of protectant for diffusion of red and blue inks writing was studied. When the mass ratio of chitosan， acetic acid， hydrogen peroxide and water was 1.5， 1.6， 3.0， 100， respectively， the optimum protectant could be prepared. The document samples treated with the protectant could prevent diffusion of red and blue inks writing in mounting process. In addition, the treated paper had a favourable durability without any significant decrease of folding endurance， tensile strength and other mechanical performance after aging testing. Furthermore， the pH value of tested paper did not affect the preservation of archives． |
