| Abstract:In this work, MCC hydrogel- Cu2O -(MOF-5) compsite was prepared by in-situ deposition of Cu2O and MOF-5 onto the substrate of MCC hydrogel. The chemical structure and antibacterial property of the composite was characterized by FTIR, XRD, SEM and Escherichia Coli. The chemical structure characterization results displayed that Cu2O and MOF-5 were deposited well on the surface of MCC hydrogel by in-situ method, thus prepared the MCC hydrogel- Cu2O -(MOF-5) composite complex material. In addition, the antibacterial tests after 24 h cultivation, the OD curve of E coli bacterial growth showed decrease progressively,and the diameter of inhibition zone displayed incremental changes, indicating that pre-synthesized MCC hydrogel- Cu2O -(MOF-5) composite material behaved the antibacterial property against Escherichia Coli.(E. Coli), the OD value changed to 1.0 and the diameter of inhibition zone increased up to 10 mm, due to introducing Nano Cu2O and MOF-5 to composite of MCC hydrogel. |
